Ammar bin Hamid: The daughter of the Emirates is fifty years of glory and giving
Ajman, on August 28/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, confirmed that the Emirati Women’s Day affirmed expensive national occasion on all of our hearts, and embodies a national march that the Emirati women plan with their effort, and illuminated their paths with their determination.
His Highness said, in a speech on this occasion, that this year’s celebration of the Emirati Women’s Day under the slogan “Hand in hand we celebrate the fifty”, coincides with the passage of half a century after the establishment of the General Women’s Union, that edifice launched by his pias and leaders Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, to become a beacon and a lighthouse, It reflects a long -term vision to empower women, and to confirm a firm conviction that the renaissance of society is not complete without them.
He added that the slogan “hand in hand … we celebrate the fifty” embodies the spirit of the partnership that our wise leadership established and is consistent with the announcement of 2025 “the year of society” under the slogan itself, to be an open invitation for more cohesion and solidarity in our national career.
He stressed that our wise leadership has given the woman to care and attention and opened all the doors before her and gave her all opportunities, so her political, economic and social presence was a witness to the state’s belief in the importance of her participation, as the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan “may God rest his soul” established that women and men are partners in building society, and that one of them is not at the expense of the other, but rather thanks to their integration.
He pointed out that the measure of any nation attends and develops, and the development of any of the peoples of the earth, finds its testing in respecting women and creating supplies in front of them to carry out their duties, and by analogy with that the UAE is a world -class model in empowering women and protecting their rights, as the UAE tops the Arab world in the representation of women in all locations and positions, and leads many regional and global indicators in gender equality.
He said that the Emirati Women’s Day carries with it the pride in glorious and exceptional achievements, in which the UAE daughter was the Renaissance companion and the construction partner, the pulse of progress, the title of glory, the source of inspiration and unlimited giving, stressing that every successful women’s experience in our society gives lessons in will, commitment and dedication.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman also emphasized the support of every initiative that elevates the status of women, enhances her opportunities in leadership and participation, and guarantees her a flexible and balanced environment that respects her multiple roles, indicating that the year of society 2025, with its qualitative initiatives, constitutes a new opportunity to enhance this trend, and to root the culture of participation and responsibility.
