Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance: Emirati women’s achievements are an inherent part of the national success story
Dubai, August 28/ WAM/ His Excellency Younis Haji Al -Khoury, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, said that the celebration of Emirati Women’s Day confirms that the achievements of the UAE daughter have become an inherent part of the story of the national success, and that her presence in various sectors, especially in financial work, has become a basic pillar in supporting the comprehensive development process, and embodies the slogan of this year “hand in hand we celebrate the fifty”, which was adopted by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak “Mother of the Emirates” The General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme President of the Family Development Corporation, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the General Women’s Union, the values of the partnership established by our wise leadership, through which the status of women has established a key partner in the future industry.
He added that women’s competencies in the Ministry of Finance have proven their influencing presence in the formulation of initiatives, the management of strategic projects, and the enhancement of institutional readiness to keep pace with global changes, and we are proud of the qualitative achievements that have been achieved that reflect their ability to innovate and leadership, supported by a work environment that provides continuous training and rehabilitation.
He concluded by saying that we believe that investing in the capabilities of women is an investment in sustaining development, and we are keen that the Ministry of Finance continue its role in providing opportunities that allow them to contribute active in achieving the targets of the “UAE 2031” and “Emirates Celsius 2071”.
