Etihad Airways reveals an updated list of destinations resumed until March 19

Etihad Airways announced the resumption of a limited commercial flight schedule, starting from March 6, 2026, to operate flights between Abu Dhabi and a number of major destinations.

The company published on its account on the “X” platform a list of destinations to which it will operate flights from today until March 19.

The company explained that guests who have previous reservations on these flights will be accommodated as soon as possible, and tickets have also become available for sale on its website.

Etihad Airways confirmed that guests or members of the public should not go to the airport unless they have been contacted directly by the company or if they have a confirmed reservation on one of the new flights.

She indicated that the decision to resume limited flights came in coordination with the relevant authorities after conducting extensive safety and security assessments, stressing that she continues to closely monitor the situation and will not operate flights until all safety standards are met.

The company noted that all other scheduled commercial flights to and from Abu Dhabi are still suspended, with additional destinations being added and announced when conditions permit.

She added that affected guests will receive direct communication from Etihad Airways to confirm the status of their flights and explain the options available to them, calling on travelers to update their contact information and follow their email to obtain the latest updates.

It also advised travelers to check the status of their flights via the website before heading to the airport, noting that guests who hold tickets issued on or before February 28, 2026, and whose original travel dates were until March 21, 2026, can rebook for free on Etihad Airways flights until May 15, 2026.

She explained that passengers on all Etihad Airways flights until March 21 can request a refund for tickets via the website or through the travel agent.

The company indicated that it is currently witnessing a large number of phone calls, and answering calls may take longer than usual, calling on those wishing to refund the value of tickets to use the refund request form on the website.

Etihad Airways stressed that safety remains its absolute priority, and that flights will only be operated after all safety standards are met.
