Dubai, August 28 / WAM / His Excellency Hala Badri, Director General of the Culture and Arts Authority in Dubai, confirmed that Emirati women have succeeded in performing their societal mission and preserving customs, traditions and national identity, and worked to consolidate them in the hearts of their children, noting the importance of their role in transferring knowledge between generations, preserving and preserving cultural heritage, and enhancing its presence on the global scene.

This came during her participation in the activities of the Emirati Women Forum, which was organized by the Dubai Women’s Foundation, today, with the wide participation of the government and private sectors.
Hala Badri said, during her participation in the session “The Emirati Women’s March in Cultural Heritage”, which was run by Hind Al -Naqbi from the Dubai Media Corporation, that “the Emirati Women Forum is an innovative platform that highlights the contributions and impact of women in society.”

She pointed out that the distinction and achievements achieved by women in various vital sectors were thanks to the care and attention of the wise leadership, which she put in the forefront of their priorities, which strengthened her position and established their active role in decision -making and achieving sustainable development.
“The forum reflects the uniqueness of the Emirati experience in empowering women and highlighting their ability to lead and innovate, and contribute to achieving the visions of the state and its future aspirations, as it focuses on its exceptional participation in building the present and future Creative.
Badri explained during the forum held at the Ritz -Carlton Hotel, the Dubai International Financial Center and in front of a crowd of senior officials, executive leaders, experts and academics, that the mother is always known as the first teacher of culture, its role is to transfer cultural knowledge and social and cultural heritage to its children and build a coherent society, stressing that the grandmothers are considered preservatives of memory and the basic reference for cultural heritage, and their memory It represents bridges linking the past to the present.
She said that the leadership woman is the one who expanded the role of the house and transferred it to a wider scope through which she participates in the elevation of the homeland, as she contributes through her commitment to values, work and achievements in various fields in preserving the cultural heritage, and transferring it to future generations, noting at the same time to many inspiring women’s models and leaders who contributed to their work and creativity in leading the cultural sector, and presented through the cinema qualitative works that express identity National, as it contributed to the enrichment of the literary scene through the novels and literary works it presented in which the cultural heritage of the state has been documented.
The Director General of the Culture and Arts Authority in Dubai concluded its speech by highlighting the authority’s interest and keenness to support women and give them the opportunity to achieve excellence, pointing out that it constitutes 95% of the leaders of the authority, 53% of jobs in the museum and heritage sector, and 78% in the arts, design and literature sector, while women make up more than 60% of the “Dubai Culture” employees.
