“Communications Organization”: The communications towers are completely safe

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and the digital government confirmed that the uncomfortable radiation used in the communications towers are completely safe, within the permissible global borders, and no harm to users of communications devices, nor to those around these towers.

In its pages on social media, the authority explained that it has finally launched an interactive digital platform that measures, analyzes and shares the data transparently, so that telecommunications services users can follow up the levels of radiation in their vicinity, and reassure themselves.

She emphasized that this project embodies the authority’s keenness on transparency and innovation, by publishing a smart system of sensors in various cities of the state, as well as conducting periodic measurements, and linking the data to an interactive digital platform, enabling community members to follow up the levels of radiation in their surroundings easily and reliably, noting that the project contributes to confirming the state’s commitment to national and international health standards, which promotes reassurance among society, And it confirms that the communications infrastructure in the UAE operates according to the highest safety standards.

She stated that it has a smart national system aimed at monitoring the unvinious electromagnetic radiation resulting from communications systems, such as mobile phones and broadcasting stations, as part of its commitment to protecting community health and developing existing capabilities to monitor wireless radiation.

The “Communications Organization” stressed that it is continuing to develop electromagnetic radiation monitoring operations, through an advanced national project to monitor the unprecedented radiation resulting from communications systems, with the aim of protecting public health, raising the quality of life, and enhancing confidence in communications infrastructure in the country.
