"Shamsa city" It concludes its activities and heads to be an annual summer destination in Sharjah
Sharjah, August 31 / WAM / The “Shamsa Entertainment City”, which was launched by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Commercial and Tourism Development Authority, curtains its activities that lasted for a full month at the Sharjah Expo Center, achieving success that exceeded expectations of thousands of visitors from families and tourists, and contributed to stimulating the economic and tourism movement as the latest destination within the “Sharjah Summer Offers 2025.
Under the slogan “Shamsa Festival – where fun” shines, thousands of visitors enjoyed the period of the city from July 31 to August 30, with entertainment programs that combined fun, learning and creativity in an innovative environment designed specifically to meet the aspirations of all family members.
On this occasion, His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stressed that this success crowns the Chamber’s strategy to create sustainable entertainment models, adding that the fruitful partnership between the government and private sectors aims to turn this event into an annual summer tradition that enhances investment and quality of life in the emirate.
His Excellency Khaled Jassim Al -Midfa, Chairman of the Commercial and Tourist Development Authority in Sharjah, praised the role of these projects in consolidating Sharjah’s position as a leading tourist and family destination, stressing that the mixing between shopping and entertainment meets the aspirations of visitors and supports Sharjah’s sustainable economic vision.
The city succeeded in supporting the “Sharjah Summer Offers”, which included major discounts in more than 1,000 stores, which offered 75% discounts on a wide range of local and international products and brands, and also contributed to enabling small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs, offering a leading model in sustainable entertainment.
