"ADX" and "Edge" They discuss cooperation to enhance national exports
Abu Dhabi on September 1 / WAM / A delegation from the Abu Dhabi Export Office “ADX” discussed during their visit to the “Edge” group with the group officials, ways to enhance the strategic partnership, which contributes to achieving national goals in support of the development of the local economy and consolidating the UAE’s position as a global destination for advanced industries and technological innovation, within the framework of the office’s efforts to enhance joint work with leading national companies.
The delegation was chaired by His Excellency Mohamed Saif Al -Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Development Fund, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Abu Dhabi Export Office “ADX”, accompanied by Khalil Al -Mansouri, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Export Office “ADX”, and was received by His Excellency Faisal Al -Bannai, Advisor to the President of the State for Strategic and Technological Research Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Edge Group”.
During the visit, the delegation of “ADEX” reviewed the most prominent services and financing solutions it provides to support national exports, in addition to clarifying possible cooperation mechanisms to enhance the capabilities of the “Edge” group and its subsidiaries to enable them to expand externally, and reach new markets in various continents of the world.
His Excellency Mohammed Saif Al -Suwaidi stressed that Emirati companies have made qualitative achievements in various vital sectors, noting that the “Edge” group represents a role model in military industries and advanced technology.
He expressed his appreciation for the exceptional achievements achieved by the group and its subsidiaries in developing innovative solutions that enhance the UAE’s position as a global industrial center, explaining that the role of the Abu Dhabi Export Office comes in this context to enhance the benefit of the competitive advantages that it provides to support business growth in all sectors to consider companies from expanding internationally, and contributing to increasing national exports, stressing support for “Edge” efforts to achieve Leadership in the defense and security sector and enhance the strategic directions of the state towards economic diversification.
On the sidelines of the visit, the delegation briefed during the field rounds in the facilities of the “Edge” group, on its manufacturing and technical capabilities, where he visited the “Nimr”, “Adassi” and “Halcon” factories.
The two sides stressed the importance of enhancing participation and exchanging experiences and knowledge, with the leading Emirati institutions and focusing on their role in advancing the process of growth and economic diversity, in a way that contributes to supporting national exports, and consolidating the contribution of the industrial sector in achieving comprehensive and sustainable development.
