A new national achievement led by the Heritage Authority with the protection of 2,748 additional sites

I announced Heritage Authority on the registration of “2,748” a new heritage site within the National Register of Urban Heritage, bringing the total recorded sites in various regions of the Kingdom to “36,919” sites, as an extension of its efforts in protecting National heritage and highlighting its historical and architectural value. div> New sites map h2>

The new sites were distributed to a number of regions, where the Asir region came in the lead by registering “1,729” new sites, bringing its total sites to “13,247” sites, followed by the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, to which “635” added new sites to reach the total of “3,089”." align ="center" Class ="twitter-tweet" Data-DNT ="True"> To strengthen the protection of heritage sites and their transfer to future generations; div> Al -Baha region also witnessed the registration of “340” new sites with a total of “2,634” sites, while added to the Hail region “1” a new site to increase its total sites to “2,382”. The total sites in it “110”, while the eastern region witnessed the registration of “8” new sites with a total of “1,135” sites." target ="_Blank"> The sites reflect their keenness to preserve the national urban heritage, enhance its historical and architectural position, and ensure its sustainability for future generations, in line with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030 in supporting culture and heritage as one of the tributaries of development.
