The Hakathon program includes workshops and scientific lectures, including lectures provided by the University of Oxford, in addition to events accompanying the creation of an interactive environment between the participants, and its competitions focused in three accurate paths: cancer, antibiotic resistance, and diabetes.
Statistics showed that the number of registered teams reached 149 teams, including 40 teams in the path of diabetes, 31 in antibiotic resistance, and 38 in cancer, while 22 of them were accepted to compete, with 7 teams in diabetes, 7 in antibiotic resistance, and 8 in cancer. Promise, as the number of female students registered 317 compared to 112 students, while females formed 45 of the total accepted participants compared to 28 males."
