Al Mariah Bank intends to raise the Emiratisation rate to 40%

Al Mariah Local Bank, the first integrated digital bank in the UAE, announced the adoption of the formation of a new board of directors that includes an elite group of national leaders with extensive cumulative experience in the financial, investment and economic sectors, and its intention to raise the percentage of Emiratisation within its human cadres to reach 40% during the next stage.
According to the bank, Tariq Ahmed Al Masoud is Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ghannam Butti Khalaf Al Mazrouei is Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Meera Sultan Muhammad Al Suwaidi, Muhammad Jumaa Saeed Al Shamsi, Muhammad Hamad Al Muhairi, Abdullah Humaid Matar Al Mazrouei, and Obaid Hilal Muhammad Al Kaabi are members.
The bank stressed that this formation reflects its vision aimed at empowering individuals and small and medium-sized companies, through innovative and easy-to-access digital banking solutions, in a way that enhances financial inclusion and supports the shift towards the digital economy in the country, in addition to its plans to expand its network of branches within the UAE, and enhance its presence at the level of digital services.
As part of its commitment to supporting national competencies, the bank announced its targets to raise the rate of Emiratization within its human cadres to reach 40% during the next stage, in a step that reflects its keenness to attract and develop Emirati talent and empower them in the banking sector. The bank also continues to support citizens by providing integrated solutions and services, including integration with national programs and initiatives, and the wage protection system of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
The bank indicated that the next phase will focus on accelerating investment in financial technology, developing advanced digital products, and providing a smooth and secure banking experience, in a way that enhances the competitiveness of the national banking sector.
