A global tour of a movie on Gaza and Motherhood

Tunisian artist Dora Zarrouk announced through her account on “Instagram” the launch of an international show tour for her new movie “Wayne Sarna”, which is considered her first experience in film production and production, after its presentation for the first time at the Cairo International Film Festival last year.

Dora poster published the film, revealing the map of the upcoming festivals that will show the work, namely:
Port Said International Film Festival – Egypt (18-22 September 2025)
– Tripoli Film Festival – Lebanon (18-25 September 2025)
– The Mediterranean Film Festival in Annaba – Algeria (24-30 September 2025)
Oran International Film Festival – Algeria (October 30 – November 5, 2025)
Palestine Film Festival – Arahus, Denmark (9-12 October 2025)
The Anatolia International Film Festival – Türkiye (the appointment is determined later).

Dora confirmed that these posts “represent a prominent station in the march of the film, and proves his ability to communicate with various Arab and international fans.”

“Where is we,” tells Nadine’s story, a young woman from Gaza, who arrives in Egypt three months after the Israeli war on the Strip, carrying two twin girls who gave birth to them shortly before the war, five years after suffering with infertility. While her husband, who is late for her for two months, is waiting for the story to open a door on deep human dimensions of loss, waiting, and motherhood amid destruction.

The film is considered a qualitative shift in Dora’s artistic career, as it moves from acting to work behind the camera, confirming its artistic maturity and its desire to fight more deep creative challenges that reflect the urgent humanitarian issues.
