In an immediate response /team from "Joint Operations Command" And the Emirati search and rescue team leaves to Afghanistan to start their humanitarian and relief tasks

Afghanistan, on September 3/ WAM/ in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, today a team of joint operations and the Emirati search and rescue team left the land of the state heading to Afghanistan, to start search and rescue tasks and support those affected by the earthquake that struck the eastern regions of the country.
The team will start, upon its arrival, in the implementation of the field evaluation operations in coordination with the local authorities, to ensure the enhancement of the efficiency of research and rescue efforts, the expansion of the scope of response, the provision of logistical and relief support to the affected areas, work to save the largest possible number of lives and recover survivors from the rubble.
The efforts of the Emirati search and rescue team coincide with the state sending its human arm, the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, urgent humanitarian aid that includes basic relief materials, medical supplies and shelters, with the aim of supporting the affected, wounded and injured, and mitigating the effects of disaster on the affected families.
This comes within the framework of the UAE’s immediate relief response to those affected by natural disasters and various crises, based on its international responsibilities and humanitarian mission, and its constant keenness to speed up a helping hand to help the afflicted and needy around the world
