Dubai brings together 80 speakers in the summit of libraries and publishing

Dubai, September 3 / WAM / The Mohammed bin Rashid Library announced the organization of the second round of the Dubai International Library Summit 2025 “, which will be held under the slogan” The Future of Publishing Industry “from October 30 to November 1.
The summit gathered more than 80 speakers from 14 countries, as well as representatives of major international publishing houses such as “Benguein Random House” and “Simon & Schuster”, as part of 45 discussion sessions and 10 specialized workshops.
In a press conference held to announce the details of the session, Ibrahim Al -Hashemi, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Summit, confirmed that the event represents a strategic platform that reflects Dubai’s commitment to enhancing knowledge, and aims to integrate human creativity with modern technology to enhance the region’s presence in the international cultural scene.
Ali Juma Al -Tamimi, Director of Library Department at the Mohammed bin Rashid Library and member of the Supreme Committee, explained that the most prominent issues raised for discussion will include digital transformation and the impact of artificial intelligence on the literary system, stressing that the summit will generate practical recommendations for the development of the sector.
Jamal Al -Shehhi, a member of the Supreme Committee, pointed out that the publishing industry is going through a joint stage that requires innovative solutions, pointing out that the summit will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss the challenges of intellectual property, supply chains, and changing reading patterns of new generations.
