The absence tomorrow, Thursday, without an excuse, is counted for two days

The departments of government schools in the various emirates of the state have stressed the students and parents that the absence of students tomorrow, September 4, without an acceptable excuse, will be calculated in a double absence (two days), given that it precedes an official holiday, calling on parents to serious cooperation and follow up on the regularity of their children in attendance.

The departments affirmed, through conversations addressed to parents and students, that the follow -up systems and immediate communication with the parents are fully activated, and they will be notified immediately in any absence, with the alert that the student exceeded 15 days of absence, which results in raising the file to the competent departments and the relevant authorities.

The departments indicated that the maximum allowed for unjustified absence is 5 days in each semester and 15 days per year, and if it is over, the student may be forced to restore the entire school year.

Schools stressed the need for a strict commitment to school attendance, as a prerequisite for success and academic excellence, stressing that any unjustified absence will be met with immediate and firm procedures according to the approved procedural evidence.

She stated that school discipline is a joint responsibility between the home and the school, and that any failure in the issue of attendance will be met with a strict application of procedures in order to preserve the interest of students and their academic future.
