The UAE condemns the Israeli army targeting the peacekeeping forces in Lebanon
The UAE strongly condemned the Israeli army firing shells on international peacekeepers in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the UAE’s strong condemnation of the attack on the international forces, stressing that targeting the peace forces is a violation of the principles of international law and the provisions of Security Council Resolution 1701.
The Ministry stressed that the UAE stands and its firm support for Lebanon, its sovereignty and the unity of its lands, and the important role played by the United Nations peacekeeping force in Lebanon.
