The start of the fifth session of the Ajman Stamp and Currency Exhibition

Ajman, on September 3 / WAM / The Department of Tourism Development in Ajman launched today the activities of the fifth session of the Ajman St.

The exhibition comes within the framework of Ajman’s strategy to consolidate its position on the map of cultural tourism in the country, and is a prominent platform that combines culture, history and economics, reviewing more than ten thousand rare pieces of postage stamps and metal and paper currencies whose total value exceeds five million dirhams, including historical versions used in the Emirates before the establishment of the union, and others dating for prominent events and stations in The march of the region and its countries. The accompanying program includes specialized workshops, cognitive lectures, and a public auction for rare holdings, as well as distinguished competitions and honoring the most prominent participating groups.

Al -Hashemi said, “The organization of the fifth session of the exhibition represents an advanced step in the emirate’s march towards consolidating its position as a major destination for cultural and heritage exhibitions in the region, and the event is a cultural bridge that links generations and enhances awareness of our national history and our rich heritage, with its rare holdings that tell the story of the Emirates and document its bright stations.”

He added, “Experts and holders from all over the world meet in the exhibition to exchange experiences and enrich the cultural and tourism content of Ajman, and we are committed to continuing to support such initiatives that enhance the national identity and put Ajman on the map of the distinguished international events.”
