Disable the conversations in the “Roblix” game in the Emirates

The Rublix platform, in cooperation with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and the digital government (Tadra), announced the implementation of a set of changes on its platform inside the Emirates.

This comes in a step aimed at enhancing digital safety for children and providing a more secure and special interactive experience.

The changes included:

A temporary disruption of some communication features inside the platform and the game, such as text conversations.

Improvements in supervising content and communication in the Arabic language, in a manner that ensures the compatibility of the content with local standards.

Adding developed parental safety and tools, aimed at enhancing the experience of safe use for children and adolescents.

The two parties affirmed their joint commitment to “a secure digital space industry and support for our children to discover, learn and create confidence.”
