Dubai, September 4/ WAM/ The Ministry of Health and Community Protection, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, participated in implementing a group of innovative initiatives, as part of the unified campaign “Summer without Hoda”.
The Ministry’s participation in the “Summer Without Accidents” campaign aims to enhance the integration of efforts in protecting public health and ensuring road safety, within the framework of consolidating healthy lifestyles, improving awareness of prevention, and supporting health choices during movement, work and travel, as well as raising awareness efforts with the national life quality strategy 2031, by launching effective initiatives, and expanding partnerships with federal and local authorities, to consolidate prevention As a daily practice, it maintains the health of individuals and contributes to rationalizing resources in the health system.
Participation includes the implementation of a package of field awareness activities in cooperation with partners through representative offices in the northern Emirates, dealing with the safety of travel by land and the health of the driver and passengers, avoiding leaving children inside the vehicles, providing a first aid bag, in addition to drinking water regularly and moving away from heavy meals before trips, and using sunglasses to improve vision, in addition to switching the driver when exhausting or fever, and not to leave Drugs inside the vehicle, with good ventilation and stopping to rest every two hours.
His Excellency Dr. Hussein Al -Rand, Assistant Undersecretary for the Public Health Sector in the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, stressed that the Ministry’s efforts in the “Summer without Accidents” campaign are an extension of a participatory approach with the Ministry of Interior to enhance the safety of community members on the roads, as it comes within the Ministry’s vision to increase awareness of mechanisms of prevention and reduce health burdens related to accidents and high temperatures, through simple behaviors with a great impact, supporting and protecting public health, in a way that ensures the sustainability of summer A healthy believe in, in which everyone enjoys well -being and happiness.
And the price of the Ministry of Interior’s efforts in the unified traffic awareness campaigns, which integrate with the role of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, in consolidating a community healthy culture that enhances the value of individual and collective responsibility, in line with the goals of the “public community”.

Brigadier General Hussein Ahmed Al -Harthy, Chairman of the Federal Traffic Council at the Ministry of Interior, said, “We are keen in the ministry to be essential partners in initiatives that enhance the protection and protection of society, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Community Protection.”
