The Ministry of Sports organizes the strategic planning course in support of a vision "We Emirates 2031"

Dubai, September 4/ WAM/ The Ministry of Sports organized on September 2 and 3, the “Strategic Planning” course in the Hamdan Sports Complex in Dubai, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Balah Al -Falasi, Minister of Sports, His Excellency Ghanem Mubarak Al -Hajri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Sports, and His Excellency Sheikh Suhail Bin Butti Al Maktoum, Assistant Undersecretary for the Sports Development and Competitiveness Sector and Chairman of the Emirates Committee for Sports Talents and Support of National Sports, along with a number of council heads and sports.
The session witnessed the participation of more than 40 personalities of departments and heads of departments in the ministry, representatives of sports councils, unions and various committees, with the aim of enhancing the strategic planning path for the sports sector, formulating an integrated vision that accompanies the targets of the national strategy for sports 2031 and the vision of “We Emirates 2031”.
His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Balah Al -Falasi stressed that the development of national sport at the competitive and societal levels is a major priority within the state’s vision for the future, noting that organizing the course aims to unify efforts and enhance integration between various sports institutions, to a national road map that enhances exercise as part of the lifestyle, raises the competitiveness of Emirati athletes globally, and supports the sector’s contribution to economic development by attracting investments and talents.
The participants presented offers during which they reviewed their plans and achievements, including the Ministry of Sports and the Three Sports Councils, as well as elite sports committees and talent care.
For his part, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al -Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, expressed his appreciation for the Ministry’s initiative, stressing that the session is a constructive step to enhance cooperation between sports institutions.
His Excellency Khalfan Belhoul, Vice -President of the Dubai Sports Council, stressed that the ministry plays a pivotal role in formulating the future of sport in the country, stressing the commitment of the council to translate the session’s outputs into practical initiatives.
In turn, His Excellency Aref Hamad Al -Awani, Secretary -General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, explained that the session represents an important platform for exchanging experiences and unifying efforts, stressing the commitment of the Council to support its outputs and convert them into practical projects that enhance the achievements of Emirati sport.
