Emirati creativity in crystal reflects the national identity in "Abu Dhabi Hunting and Equestrian"

Abu Dhabi, September 5/ WAM/ Crystal art paintings formed a remarkable addition in the 22nd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Fishing and Equestrian Show, where it emerged in its golden colors inspired by the desert and its accurate designs that reflected a harmonious mix between originality and modernity, to provide visitors with a visual experience that embodies the Emirati national identity and evokes the features of nature and wildlife with an innovative modern spirit.

Magda Al -Jarrah, an Emirati artist and poet in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, said that her crystal paintings that she created in her own style depend on the formation of the shadow in the same color using crystal cloves of varying sizes starting from the small through the middle to the large, to give the paintings visual depth and a unique artistic dimension unparalleled worldwide.

She added that she was keen in this participation to present a variety of paintings, which included drawings that express the wise leadership, and embody the Emirati nature and wildlife, in addition to works that carry the imprint of the desert that was inspired by the golden color as a major color, as it is the source of originality, inspiration, customs and traditions of Emirati.

She explained that this method is not limited to sparkle and decoration only, but is based on a deep aesthetic philosophy, as it gives the viewer a sensual experience that changes with the difference of vision and lighting angle, to form a visual moving art that exceeds the limits of the traditional painting.

Al -Jarrah emphasized that this art, despite its difficulty and accuracy, reflects the balance between modernity and heritage, noting that the completion of each painting takes between one to two months depending on its size and fine details, but it made a great effort to produce a rich group that combines the symbolic luxury of the crystal and the authentic Emirati cultural identity.
