The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq receives Noura Al -Kaabi

Erbil, September 5/ WAM/ His Excellency Masrur Barzani, head of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government, received His Excellency Noura bint Muhammad Al Kaabi, Minister of State, and His Excellency Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Culture.

During the meeting, the aspects of relations between the United Arab Emirates and the brotherly Republic of Iraq in general, and the Kurdistan region in particular, and ways of expanding the horizons of cooperation in a way that serves common interests, returns good for the two brotherly peoples, and contributes to achieving their aspirations towards development and prosperity.
His Excellency Al -Kaabi conveyed, during the meeting, the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai “may God bless him”, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and head of the Presidential Court, to His Excellency Masrour Barzani, and the wishes of their highness to the Iraqi Republic and its brother And prosperity in various fields.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the brotherly relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields of common concern, stressing the depth of historical and documentary ties between the two brotherly countries, which included various political, economic, cultural and human aspects.
This meeting comes on the sidelines of the UAE’s participation in the official ceremony of the opening of a number of cultural and heritage sites that were reconstituted in the Iraqi city of Mosul with funding from the UAE, and in partnership with UNESCO, with a delegation headed by His Excellency Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State, and in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Salem Al Qasimi, Minister of Culture, along with a number of ministers, officials and representatives of UNESCO.

The opening was a prominent station in the path of reconstruction, the most prominent historical city of the city, as part of the “Reviving the Spirit of Mosul” initiative.
