Various activities on the eighth day of "Abu Dhabi Fishing and Equestrian Fair"

Abu Dhabi, September 6 / WAM / The eighth day of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Fair witnessed a series of cultural, educational and heritage activities, which attracted a varied audience of all ages.
The seventh session of the hawks auctions was held, with the participation of a group of the most prominent local and international falcons, in a presence and electronic formula, and resulted in the sale of seven hawks at a total value of 251 thousand dirhams, and the auction recorded the highest deal in a “free” falcon, in the amount of 130 thousand dirhams, in a clear indication of the growing international presence of this prestigious heritage event.
It is scheduled to conclude the auction season on the last day of the exhibition tomorrow, as the last round will be held amid expectations of more demand and competition.
In its third session, the Emirates Arabian Horses Association organized a special competition for Emirati horse coaches, as the participants reviewed their skills in the “Arena Events” square, wearing the traditional Emirati dress, in a scene that embodies the spirit of authentic heritage.
The trainers underwent accurate evaluation according to specific criteria, which included the extent of horse control, elegance of appearance, and behavior that reflects the cultural values associated with Arabian horse shows.
The competition concluded by honoring the winners during the award ceremony held in the association’s pavilion, to celebrate their excellence and contribution to preserving this ancient legacy.
The exhibition is an integrated platform for adventure and heritage lovers, where the hunting and safari tourism sector highlights unique experiences from different countries of the world, including luxurious safari trips and advanced equipment, as well as special offers from South Africa, Botswana and the Emirates, which review the beauty of deserts and heritage activities.
The arms and shooting equipment sector is witnessing widely, with innovative offers from leading companies such as “Caracal” global, which offer weapons designed with an Emirati spirit, while the exhibition allows visitors to explore the latest camping and external clothing equipment, within a rich cultural and entertainment experience that enhances sustainable tourism and moral fishing.
The activities of the eighth day included distinguished artistic performances such as the art of Chado and the traditions of Japanese tea, as well as the “Japanese Decodine” art workshop, which dazzled visitors with the aesthetics of manual design.
In the small village of Al -Saqar, young visitors got to know the basics of falconry through interactive workshops such as how to make hawks covers and tie them, falconry tools and techniques, deal with hawks and fishing simulation, in addition to artistic activities inspired by the world of falconry.
The National Children’s Academy organized a comprehensive educational and educational workshop, while specialists from falcon clinics presented live sessions of veterinary care, during which they provided visitors with the opportunity to identify the methods of diagnostic and advanced medical care of these rare birds.
The knowledge platform in the exhibition witnessed a series of interactive events and sessions that combined education and entertainment, amid a remarkable public presence.
The platform also presented the “Mansour Adventures” event, which attracted the young with interactive experiences inspired by the Emirati environment, in addition to a session “Know the Falcons” that introduced the public to the characteristics of prey and their role in the local heritage.
