The head of the state receives the leader of the Ismaili community
Abu Dhabi, September 7 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, received today Agha Khan Rahim Al -Husseini, leader of the Ismaili community in the world.
The meeting – which took place at the Beach Palace – touched on the importance of strengthening common human values and rooting the culture of coexistence and civilized dialogue between various cultures and peoples in the world.
Al -Husseini praised during the meeting the typical civilization of the UAE in diversity, embracing cultures and enhancing the values of coexistence in its society.
He also valued the efforts of His Highness the President of the State and his good initiatives that support peace and development, in addition to his humanitarian approach that aims to improve the quality of human life and societies in various regions of the world.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidency Bureau for Special Affairs and His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State, His Excellency Reem Bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Head of the President of the State for Strategic Affairs and head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office and a number of officials and delegation accompanying the guest.
