"Emirates Accounting Agency" It launches two digital platforms to enhance audit and financial governance
Abu Dhabi, September 8 / WAM / The Emirates Accounting Agency announced the launch of two innovative digital platforms, “the internal audit platform for the subjects and the auditors platform”, in a strategic move that reflects its commitment to harnessing technology to enhance transparency and accountability, and raise the efficiency of the audit and control system at the federal level.
The agency stressed in a statement today that the internal audit platform is a qualitative shift in financial and administrative control, as it provides an integrated digital system to follow up the performance of internal audit units in the federal government agencies, with the possibility of assessing the extent of their commitment to the approved standards and regulations and also provides an interactive environment for immediate communication between the agency and internal audit units in the subjects, in a manner that ensures the speed of response and enhances compliance with legislation.
He noted that the auditors platform was designed to be an approved digital record for external auditing companies, which enables the parties subject to the selection of qualified and accredited scrutiny partners, according to the finest international practices in reviewing the financial statements.
The launch of these platforms comes within the framework of the strategic orientation of the device towards the digital transformation in control and scrutiny, in a way that enhances its role as a leading federal authority that contributes to building a modern and effective governance system, and this represents direct support for the state’s efforts to consolidate integrity and transparency and ensure the optimal use of public resources, by employing technology as a major tool to enhance confidence and achieve financial sustainability.
