260 Chinese companies participate in "Witix" 2025

Dubai, September 8/ WAM/ The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority announced the participation of more than 260 Chinese companies within a pavilion that extends over an area exceeding 2800 square meters in the twenty -seventh session of the Water, Energy and Environment Technology Exhibition “Witix” organized by the authority at the Dubai World Trade Center from September 30 to October 2.
The authority stated in a statement today that this participation is the largest Chinese participation in the history of the exhibition, which was welcomed by His Excellency Saeed Mohamed Al Tayer, Managing Director, CEO of the Authority, Chairman and founder of the Witix exhibition.
His Excellency said that the United Arab Emirates and the People’s Republic of China have firm strategic relations based on the basis of fruitful cooperation in the fields of economics, investment, energy and technology, explaining that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries amounted to 102 billion dollars in 2024, an increase of 7% compared to 2023.

He added: “In the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, we have strategic partnerships with leading Chinese companies in the field of clean energy, and this extensive participation of Chinese companies in Witix 2025 is consistent with our efforts to enhance the exhibition’s position a leading global platform to highlight the most prominent innovations and technical solutions in the clean energy, water and sustainability sectors.”
For his part, David Wang, Chairman of the MIE Group, said the organizer of the Chinese wing in Witix that for Chinese companies, Witix is ​​not just a commercial exhibition, but a strategic gateway to enter the Middle East and North Africa market that contributes to combining exhibitors and appropriate partners, exploring new opportunities, and supporting the ambitious vision of the UAE towards a sustainable future.
