The story of the film reflects part of Jolly’s realistic experience, as the international star announced, in 2013, that she underwent a dual breast extension process after the discovery of her pregnancy for Jane (BRCA1), which increases the risk of breast and ovarian cancer, a disease that was lost because of her mother and grandmother.
The author and director of the film, Alice Winocor, said that the character of Angelina Jolie, the strength of her and her will, was inspiring to her as she was writing the scenario of the film, and that she inspired him from the story of the global star’s disease, and her insistence on moving forward in her life, indicating that she wanted to show her fragility and strength as a woman standing behind the image of the international star.
Within its events, the film presented three women’s characters, namely: “Maxine”, whose role was embodied by Angelina Jolie, and “Angel”, the makeup artist whose role embodied Ayla Rumv, who aspires to become a writer, and “Ada”, the model coming from South Sudan, and embodied the role of Anieh Ani, and the vision of the clear director in the context of the film was that they represent one woman of different stages.
Global cinemas are scheduled to start showing the film commercially in the month of December, in conjunction with the new year holidays.
