"Sharjah Heritage" It is an open day to introduce national qualifications

Sharjah, September 9 / WAM / The Sharjah Institute of Heritage organized today, the open day event to introduce partial national qualifications and professional diplomas that it presents, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al -Muslim, President of the Institute, and a number of directors of departments and heads of departments as well as a group of students wishing to join the institute and those interested in studying heritage science.

The open day organization comes to introduce academic and professional programs that it provides to visitors to get to know closely about the specializations presented and discuss their aspirations and inquiries with the academic staff.

The program included an introductory tour for new students, which included study halls and institute facilities, as well as providing detailed explanations on scientific courses and qualifications approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and includes four partial qualifications: administrative works in cultural and heritage institutions, museum counseling, restoration and maintenance of manuscripts, collection, codification, and preservation of intangible cultural heritage in addition to a diploma in business administration in cultural and mutual institutions.

And the Muslim affirmed the institute’s keenness to provide integrated academic and professional programs that reflect the originality of the Emirati heritage and keep pace with international quality standards.

For his part, Dr. Khaled Al -Shehhi, Director of the Academic Administration at the Institute, stressed that the open day aims to make education a live window on heritage by providing an integrated knowledge experience that mixes originality and contemporary and is consistent with international academic standards.
