Hamdan bin Mubarak congratulates the Olympic team for its rise to the Asian Cup finals
Abu Dhabi, September 9/ WAM/ His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, President of the Emirates Football Association, congratulated our Olympic team on the occasion of its qualification to the Asian U -23 Cup finals that will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2026, appreciating the work of the technical and administrative bodies and players.
His Excellency praised the way the team prepared for these qualifiers, stressing that the players’ dedication to training and camps, their focus in matches and their commitment in general were influential factors, helped to achieve the goal and successfully achieve the task.
He stressed that the Football Association will continue to provide the best programs for the Olympic team in order to be ready for the Asian finals in the required way.
His Excellency the President of the Federation thanked the fans, all the fans of Emirati football, and the price of the efforts of the media system in the country supporting all national teams.
His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak added, “The Olympic White qualified for the Asian U -23 Finals, and our team qualified for the juniors to the World Cup U -17 finals with good signs for the Emirati ball, and there is no doubt that talents in these two teams are the base that feeds the first team, and they will certainly constitute an important and influential addition in the near future.”
“We are happy with these successes, but our ambitions are greater, and we will continue to work to enhance the results and achievements of Emirati football,” he said.
