The UAE condemns in the strongest terms the blatant Israeli attack on Doha

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, in the strongest terms, condemned the blatant Israeli attack and coward that targeted the sisterly State of Qatar, stressing that this reckless attack constitutes a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Qatar, a serious attack on international law and the United Nations Charter, and an irresponsible escalation that threatens security and regional and international stability.

His Highness expressed the full solidarity of the UAE with the sisterly State of Qatar, and its fixed support for everything that would protect its security and the safety of its citizens and residents on its soil, and stressed the need for the immediate endowment of military escalation, warning that the continuation of such escalation would undermine regional security, and drag the region to serious paths that will have catastrophic repercussions on international peace and security.

His Highness called on the international community, especially the Security Council, to assume its legal and moral responsibilities to deter Israel and stop these barbaric attacks, stressing that the continuation of this aggressive approach reflects a reckless behavior that will push the region towards more tension and escalation, and undermine the chances of achieving security and stability.

His Highness warned that persistence in such reckless attacks, in the absence of a deterrent and decisive international position, will have very dangerous repercussions on regional and international security and peace, and devotes a reality that cannot be tolerated or accepted.

In addition, the United Arab Emirates expressed its solidarity with the sisterly State of Qatar, and its condolences for the martyrdom of one of the employees of the Internal Security Force, as a result of the brutal Israeli attack.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed, in a statement, that the UAE extends its sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the martyr and his family, and to the State of Qatar, leadership, government and people, expressing its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured security elements, and renewed its full solidarity with the sisterly state of Qatar and its standing by it in the face of everything that targets its security and stability.

For his part, the diplomatic advisor to His Highness the President of the State, Dr. Anwar bin Muhammad Gargash, said in a post on his official account at the X platform yesterday: “The security of the Arab Gulf states is indivisible and we stand in heart and heart with the sisterly State of Qatar, debtor of the treacherous Israeli attack that targeted it, and affirming our full solidarity with it in the face of this attack.”

Gargash added: “May God protect Qatar with leadership and people, and to preserve the Arab Gulf states.”

Yesterday, the State of Qatar announced that a criminal attack launched by Israel targeted residential headquarters for a number of members of the political bureau of Hamas, in the capital, Doha.

A statement published by the Qatar News Agency stated that the security authorities and the civil defense and the competent authorities began immediately dealing with the accident, taking the necessary measures to contain its consequences, and ensuring the safety of the residents and the surrounding areas.

The statement stressed that this criminal attack constitutes a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms, and a serious threat to the security and safety of Qataris and residents in Qatar.
