1200 players and players participate in"Youth World Cup" For Moay Tai in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi, September 10/ WAM/ The Emirates Union of Moe Tai and Cake Boxing announced the launch of the battalions in the World Tai Youth Championship 2025, next Saturday, in “Space 42 Arena” at Al -Raha Beach in Abu Dhabi, with the participation of more than 1,200 players representing 100 countries in different age groups.
Al -Ittihad confirmed in a statement today, that the tournament will be held for the first time in the Middle East, in cooperation with the International Moay Tai Federation, and that the official opening ceremony will be held tomorrow, Friday.
Stephen Fox, Secretary -General of the International Union of Moe Tai, said that the tournament will witness an unprecedented participation from different continents, which makes it the largest in the history of youth competitions, stressing that Abu Dhabi has all the elements of success to organize a qualitative event of this size.
In turn, Tariq Mohamed Al -Muhairi, member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Union for Mawy Tae and Cake Boxing, stressed that the hosting of Abu Dhabi for this global event has established the union’s approach to organizing major sports championships, especially since the vast participation reflects the great international confidence in the UAE’s organizational capabilities and its pioneering position in combat sports.
