The Ruler of Sharjah opens the 14th International Government Communication Forum
Sharjah, September 10/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, opened today, Wednesday, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, and the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, President of the Sharjah Family and Society Council, the activities of the 14th session of the International Forum The media of the Sharjah government at the Expo Sharjah Center for two days, during which he hosts more than 237 speakers from around the world, under the slogan “Communication for the Quality of Life”.

His Highness the Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council continued, saying, “This story is not just a historical reality, but rather a lesson in political sociology, and a lesson in the art of communication that reveals the needs of society and translates resources into an agreed social guarantee, so the official becomes interlocutor, and people turn from recipients into partners, and from that date to our present today the rule remains one: development needs communication, and the decision needs dialogue.”
On the unique experience of Sharjah in influential communication, His Highness said // Here we are today we see this march continuing in Sharjah through the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, who made man the focus of development, culture is the basis of communication, values with the compass of progress and sustainability, and in confirmation of this, His Highness established many specialized institutions, such as the consulting council, municipal councils, suburban councils, etc. Citizens and concerned authorities, to communicate the voice of the citizen and his own affairs; So that the requests of the families are monitored, study their needs, and share them in providing opinion and advice, then submit proposals and observations to study them and take what is necessary, all in order to improve the quality of the life of the people of Sharjah //.

Her Highness talked about the “quarter -century” project and the diversity of its activities through 31 centers that include more than 30 thousand associates, and his contribution to building a person and discovering his capabilities and building his experiences from a young age, indicating her highness to not be satisfied with traditional education and awareness of the importance of non -class activities in expanding the child’s perceptions, stressing her highness that the goal is to contain and embrace children An intellectual participates in decision -making, including an interest in serving society.
His Highness, President of the Sharjah Family and Society Council, indicated that the “quarter -century” center creates a generation that chooses its career path early, so he does not put in his eyes positions or bright titles, as the individual learns since his childhood that the leader is a servant of society and his duty to seek to develop his country through his leadership influence, stressing its highness that change is inevitably coming and the children must be ready for such Changes.
Her Highness explained that the opinions of the associates and their parents are considered one of the priorities, especially when designing programs, in order to know what they need and what they want to learn, noting that her highness is that 30 % of the targets in the Sharjah community are affiliated with the institutions of a quarter of a century for the industry of leaders and innovators, stressing her highness on the need to raise children in the right way, and the father and mother bear full responsibility without shortening, which is the matter It leads to children’s sense of security and safety, which is reflected in the behavior of individuals in society.
His Highness, President of the Sharjah Family and Society Council, moved on to talk about the humanitarian campaigns and initiatives that have reached most of the needy around the world through a human fundraising campaign called “the Great Heart” until it became an independent international humanitarian institution aimed at mobilizing humanitarian efforts and doubling efforts to provide and assisting refugees and needy around the world.
Her Highness pointed out that the Grand Heart Foundation chooses its programs and designs it very carefully, stressing that it is that the goal is not always relief, but the institution also targets health and education, explaining its highness that the government is ensuring the administrative obligations of the institution, so that the donations reach the beneficiaries by 100 %, saying its highness // the children of the world are our children, we do not satisfy them with what we are not satisfied with our children.
Her Highness stressed that every child has the right to live and arise in an environment that provides him with safety and psychological stability in the confines of his parents, and that exposing the child to psychological shocks due to the hideous wars led by human greed is immoral, and each individual must seek to provide as much help.
His Highness the President of the Sharjah Family and Society Council spoke about visits to various charitable projects and initiatives around the world as a prominent advocate for refugee children at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, where His Highness is the first to hold this title in the history of the commission, and the impact recorded by Her Highness during multiple visits such as the opening of the Zaatari camp clinic in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the Noor program to support orphan children in Gaza, and the construction of a secondary school for refugee girls in Kenya.
Her Highness talked about the forum’s title in its current version “Communication for the Quality of Life”, and the role of the Sharjah Family and Society Council institutions to ensure the quality of life for individuals, stressing her highness that giving and altruism exists in human instinct, and the human duty requires standing alongside the human being in all circumstances, and the fingerprint of giving lies in financing charitable projects with an impact such as the virtual excellence program for heart disease and tumors with a hospital Royal Brompton.
