المملكة: To support supply chains locally and in the Gulf… launching a guide for goods transport licensees
Launched The General Authority for Transport, through the “Logistics” platform, has created a guide for those licensed to transport goods by trucks, to enable the business sector to quickly access carriers locally and internationally, and enhance the efficiency of reliable logistical flows.

The Authority explained that the guide allows beneficiaries to review lists of approved carriers, specifying their operational destinations that cover internal routes, and extend to include the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the Arab countries.
It added The regulatory authority said that the new tool enables beneficiaries to accurately identify Shipment owners and commercial agents in the licensed transport fleet, to ensure the reliability of transactions and raise the efficiency of land freight operations in accordance with regulatory frameworks.
She confirmed that the “Logistics” platform continues its pivotal role in supporting the flow of supply chains, and keeping pace with the strategic goals of developing the transportation sector and consolidating the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics center.
