A contribution from Mohammed Rasool Khoury and his sons worth one million dirhams in support of the campaign "Umm Al Emarat Endowment for Orphans"
ABU DHABI, March 13, 2017 (WAM) – Mohammed Rasool Khoury and Sons announced a contribution of 1 million dirhams in support of the “Umm Al Emarat Endowment for Orphans” campaign launched by the Endowments and Minors’ Funds Management Authority – Abu Dhabi Endowments, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him.”
This contribution comes within the framework of supporting efforts aimed at establishing a sustainable endowment funding source for orphan care in the UAE, ensuring a decent life for them and a more stable future, and contributing to enhancing social cohesion and consolidating the endowment culture as a sustainable development tool.
This initiative is in line with the objectives of the Year of the Family, and reflects the spirit of solidarity and giving rooted in Emirati society, as the campaign seeks to transform community contributions into sustainable endowment assets that support the needs of orphans in the areas of education, health care, and decent living.
