"Million poet" It concludes the 3rd arbitration round in Amman
Amman, September 11/ WAM/ The Poet of the Million program concluded in its twelfth season, organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority under the slogan “Our Poem One”, the third arbitration round last night in the Jordanian capital, Amman, after two days of poetic interviews that witnessed an atmosphere full of creativity and authentic Nabati competition.
The number of applicants to meet the committee reached 110 poets, including seven poets, from several countries that included Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Tunisia, who presented their texts before the jury consisting of Dr. Sultan Al -Amimi, Dr. Ghassan Al -Hassan and the poet Hamad Al -Saeed.
One poet was able to obtain the gold card that guaranteed him direct qualification to the stage of 100, in preparation for choosing the list of 48 poets who will continue the competition for the competition in the live broadcast episodes.
Dr. Ghassan Al -Hassan praised the distinguished level of Jordan’s poets, stressing that the Amman tour is a main station in every season, and witnesses a great diversity in the nationalities of the participating poets and always reveals promising talents capable of competing strongly in the arenas of Nabati poetry.
The poet of the millionaire is the largest program in the field of Nabati poetry, in terms of the value of prizes that amount to 15 million dirhams, as the first place winner receives the title of the poet of the Million, Berber of Poetry and five million dirhams, while the rest of the prizes are distributed over the ranks until the sixth place, reflecting the global status of the program and its impact on preserving and supporting Nabati poetry.
