"Sharjah Heritage" Looking for cultural cooperation with Finland

Sharjah, September 11 / WAM / The Sharjah Institute for Heritage Research is ways to enhance joint cooperation in the areas of culture and heritage and strengthen bilateral relations with the Republic of Finland.
Dr. Abdulaziz Al -Muslim, head of the institute, said that he discussed today at the institute’s headquarters with His Excellency Ambassador Tula Yerola, Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to the state, a number of practical proposals in terms of organizing joint cultural programs and activities that enhance the ties between the Emirate of Sharjah and the Republic of Finland, pointing out that Finland possesses a rich cultural heritage and a distinctive civilized diversity.
For its part, His Excellency Ambassador Tula Yerola stressed that the meeting represents an important step to enhance cultural relations between the two countries, stressing the keenness of Finland to develop cultural and heritage cooperation with the Emirate of Sharjah and open broader horizons for future partnerships.
This visit comes within the framework of joint efforts to enhance cultural dialogue and knowledge exchange between peoples, in a way that contributes to opening new cooperation horizons between the Sharjah Institute of Heritage and Finnish cultural institutions and reflects the position of Sharjah as a bridge of civilization and cultural communication at the regional and international levels.
