10 milestones in the new iPhone 17 versions

The American company “Apple” revealed, during its annual event on the ninth of September, during which it announced its latest versions of phones and products, 10 milestones in new generations of its products, especially from the iPhone phones that acquire the largest share of the interests of users around the world.

1 – Improving the performance of processors

Among the most prominent changes in the new versions of the iPhone phones, is the transition to newer and more efficient processors, as the processors of “A19” and “A19 Pro” were adopted, instead of the previous “A18” and “A18 Pro” processors, and this update in processors will provide significantly faster performance, along with improving energy consumption.

Apple has strengthened its treatments with advanced graphics processing units, in addition to advanced units of artificial intelligence, capable of running applications that depend on obstetric intelligence techniques, and among the most prominent improvements related to artificial intelligence, the capabilities of personal assistant “Siri” that have become more interactive and beneficial thanks to these developments, which makes them closer to understanding the user and interacting with him in a natural way.

2 – Dependence on the electronic chip

One of the most controversial changes in new versions, is to completely remove the traditional communication chip port, and full dependence on the electronic chip “ESIM”, compared to previous versions, which combined the availability of the actual chip and the electronic chip system.

This transformation, which has gradually began in the past years, is now a reality in some countries, as iPhone phones no longer support the actual chip at all, which may be a challenge for some users, especially when traveling, moving and replacing the slides repeatedly.

3 – Increase the battery size

Apple explained that canceling the traditional slide port contributed to providing an additional internal space, which was used to increase the battery size, and this step contributed to improving the battery performance, and extending the period of the use of the phone without the need to recharge repeatedly.

4 – Promote scratches resistance

Among the striking technical changes, what Apple announced about improving the device’s resistance to scratches through the “Shield 2” technology, which is a cheeky -resistant ceramic shield layer at a rate of three times more than previous versions, and this layer was used on the front and back of the iPhone 17 phones, “iPhone 17 Pro”, “iPhone 17 Pro Max” Von Air, “enhances the durability of phones.

5 – The thinnest phone in the history of “iPhone”

For the first time, Apple launched a phone that is the thinnest device in the history of the iPhone series, under the name “iPhone Air”, where the thickness of the device is only 5.6 mm, and this phone comes with a screen measuring 6.5 inches, and it contains one 48 -megapixel rear camera, while supporting multiple photography options despite reducing the number of lenses.

6 – Improving the front camera

The performance of the front camera has also been improved in the new iPhone phones, as it became 18 megapixels, compared to 12 megapixels in previous versions, and was supported by the “Center Stage” technology that is used to improve the experience of video calls and “selfies”, by tracking facial movement and adjusting the frame automatically.

7 – Raise the quality of the rear cameras

Technical changes also included improving the performance of rear cameras, all of which are 48 megapixels, while enhancing visual approximation capabilities to provide a professional photography experience. Apple has made clear improvements to the camera’s performance in low light conditions.

8 – Return to the use of aluminum

In the context of Apple’s endeavor to reduce the weight of the phone and enhance the device’s resistance to high temperatures, the company returned to the use of aluminum to manufacture the phone’s structure, instead of titanium used in some previous versions.

9 – Enhancing battery and screen capabilities

On the battery side, the iPhone 17 Pro Max phone managed to make a video time up to 39 hours, compared to 36 hours in the iPhone 16 Pro Max version. The screens were also developed to support the “Promotion” technology at the rate of update of 120 Hz, with an increase in the size of the iPhone 17 to 6.3 inches instead of 6.1 inches in the previous version.

10 – Increase the storage capacity

As for the storage capacity, the options have become more diverse, as the maximum memory capacity was raised to two terabytes in the iPhone 17 Pro Max version, compared to the maximum capacity of previous versions that did not exceed one terabyte.
