The Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman signs a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in the supervisory field

Abu Dhabi, September 14/ WAM/ The Emirates Accounting Agency and the State Financial and Administrative Control Agency in the Sultanate of Oman signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance joint cooperation in the supervisory field and develop rational governance mechanisms.
This came during the meeting that brought together His Excellency Hamid Obaid Abu Shabas, head of the Emirates Accounting Agency and His Excellency Sheikh Ghosn bin Hilal Al -Alawi, head of the state’s financial and administrative control agency in the Sultanate of Oman at the headquarters of the agency in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting dealt with ways to exchange experiences and institutional knowledge, develop the capabilities of national cadres, and benefit from the latest digital solutions and innovative technologies, the most prominent of which is the “Marsad” platform based on artificial intelligence, which was developed by the Emirates Authority to raise the efficiency of auditing and control systems.
The Memorandum of Understanding reflects the keenness of the two countries to consolidate the principles of transparency, integrity and accountability, and to enhance their role in protecting public resources and supporting the sustainable development process in the region, in order to achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
