Netanyahu acknowledges “Israeli isolation”: We will have to adapt

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu acknowledged that Israel is facing increasing economic isolation with the continuation of the war in Gaza, indicating that it “will have to become more dependent on itself.”

“Israel is somewhat isolation, and it may have to go towards a self -sufficient economy.”

He added: “We will increase in an increasing way to adapt to an economy with self -sufficiency. This word is severely hate.”

He continued: “I am a supporter of the free market, but we may find ourselves in a position in which our military industries are sweetened. We will need to develop arms industries here, not only research and development, but also the ability to produce what we need.”

He said he believed that Israel was “able to get out of this isolation”, but he blamed “the mass migration of Muslim migrants to Europe for subjugating governments in a direction hostile to Israel, and pushing it to cancel the defense deals with it.”

In the same context, opposition leader Yair Lapid Netanyahu strongly criticized after his statements.

Lapid said: “Netanyahu’s statement that Israel is in isolation and needs to adapt to the economy of isolation, a crazy statement. Solving is not an inevitable destiny, but rather the product of a wrong and failed policy of Netanyahu and his government.”

He continued: “They (government ministers) turn Israel into a third world country, and they do not even seek to change the situation.”
