With a global paradox, China suffers from a garbage !!

In a strange transformation and global paradox, China today faces an unfamiliar problem at all, which is a waste of waste.

While most countries of the world suffer from the accumulation of mountains from garbage and their environmental repercussions, China finds itself in the opposite position, as waste burning factories are no longer operating at full capacity, but some of them were forced to buy garbage from other areas only to remain in operation.

In recent years, China has pumped huge investments, amounting to billions of dollars, to build an advanced infrastructure for waste disposal, especially by burning them, in an attempt to stay away from the traditional landfills that were polluting the major cities. But the surprise is that these modern factories have become “hungry” … because the amount of waste available is no longer enough to feed them.

The main reason for the disappearance of garbage is due to the strict recycling campaigns imposed by the Chinese government, which included:

Imposing mandatory waste in homes and companies.
Tightening monitoring and classification of waste.
Educating citizens about the importance of responsible consumption and reducing waste.

As a result, citizens became more aware, as they recycled materials, reduce plastic consumption, and improve waste sorting, which reduced the amount of “burning garbage” significantly.

This situation has led to the fact that some burning factories have been buying waste from remote areas or even from other cities, only to ensure the continued operation of production lines. It is a satirical paradox: While the world pays a heavy price to get rid of its waste, China pays money to bring it.

This development is environmentally positive, as it reduces resource waste, enhances the circular economy, and reduces pollution.

But from an economic point of view, investing billions of dollars in factories that do not operate at full capacity is a great loss, unless these factories are modified to accommodate other types of waste, or are managed in more flexible ways.
