“Tenders”: 1.7 million dinars to establish a new “Bapco Supply” station in the Buhair region

The Tenders and Auctions Board opened the envelopes for 7 general tenders, for which 38 different bids were submitted, including a tender for Bapco Supply, which wants to obtain the work of decommissioning the existing service station, the work of demolishing the facilities associated with it, and establishing a new Bapco supply station in the Al-Bahir region.
The works also include all fuel works, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical works, and related infrastructure works, as it received 6 bids, the lowest of which amounted to 1.7 million dinars.
The Council also opened a tender for the Ministry of Information, which wants to operate the Indian entertainment radio channel on the 103MHz band for a period of 5 years. The tender received a single bid, amounting to 547 thousand dinars.
For its part, government hospitals issued a tender for a project to scan and archive patients’ medical records, indicating that the project includes scanning and archiving medical records, and digitizing them to create a secure electronic archive.
It indicated that the provider must convert paper files into digital copies in OCR format while ensuring the accuracy of the data and uploading or linking it with the hospital’s current and future systems, in addition to reviewing the quality of scanning and safe handling of sensitive data, as it received 10 bids, the least of which amounted to 347 thousand dinars.
In turn, the Department of Public Services and Central Stores at the Electricity and Water Authority intends to purchase ground cables with a voltage of 11 kilovolts, aluminum AL, with a size of 300 square millimeters, and it received 5 bids, the least of which amounted to 233 thousand dinars.
In another tender, the Authority intends to supply electronic water meters. The tender received 3 bids, the least of which was 130 thousand dinars.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments issued a tender to develop and implement an improved electronic service for registering rental contracts via the Bahrain.BH platform, explaining that the proposed solutions must work to upgrade the current systems on the front and back end, ensuring improved efficiency, user experience, and full integration with relevant government agencies.
The Ministry stated that the scope of work includes services such as system design, development, testing, data migration, integration, and training, in addition to post-launch support and maintenance for a period of three years, stressing that the bidder must conduct a detailed analysis of the current systems, and propose an integrated technical solution that ensures smooth operation without additional costs or changes in the scope of work outside what is specified, as the tender received 6 bids, the least of which amounted to 71 thousand dinars.
The Ministry of Education issued a tender to provide furniture for classrooms of students with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, and Down syndrome in 15 schools. The tender received 7 bids, the least of which amounted to 18 thousand dinars.
