The President of the State visits a number of historical monuments in Karabakh, accompanied by the President of Azerbaijan

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, visited today a number of historical and natural monuments in the city of Shosha in the Karabakh region, accompanied by Ilham Aliyeif, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan … in the context of the official visit made by His Highness to Azerbaijan.

His Highness’s tour included “Shusha Castle”, which dates back to about 1750 and is a historical and cultural symbol of Azerbaijan, along with visiting the Shusha Mosque, which was designed to be one of the most prominent cultural and religious attractions in the city. The tour also included Sahl, “Huezo Duzo”, which is one of the most famous natural and tourist attractions in which the horse race is held and its performances for the purpose of training and evaluating its skills and choosing it alongside many events in addition to the National Museum of the Azerbaijan Carpet and a number of memorials of personalities and Azerbaijani national symbols in the field of literature and arts.
