The UAE participates in the opening of the second international festival for Pakistani dates 2025

Karachi on September 16/ WAM/ The UAE participated in the opening of the activities of the second international festival for Pakistani dates 2025, which started today in the city of Karachi, with the wide participation of producers, manufacturers, dates dealers and palm planting experts from a number of countries.
The festival was inaugurated by His Excellency Mr. Saeed Ghani, Minister of Sindh Region, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Bakhit Atiq Al -Rumaithi, the Consul General of the UAE in Karachi, and His Excellency Dr. Abdel -Wahab Al -Bukhari, the pity of the Secretary General of the Khalifa International Prize for Dates and Agricultural Innovation, affiliated to the Zayed Humanitarian Foundation at the Presidential Court in the UAE, along with a number of members of the diplomatic corps, experts and specialists in palm cultivation and production of dates In Pakistan.
In his opening speech, His Excellency Minister Saeed Ghani expressed his happiness in the fruitful cooperation between the UAE and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in various fields, offering his thanks and appreciation to the UAE for its support for the festival, and its continuous efforts in developing and developing the palm cultivation sector and the production of dates in Pakistan.
His Excellency stressed that the festival contributed to strengthening the bonds of cooperation between the Ministry of National Food Security and Research and the Pakistani Export Development Authority, the strategic partner, and the General Secretariat of the Khalifa International Prize for Dates and Agricultural Innovation, to enhance food security and achieve sustainable development.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Abdel -Wahab Al -Bukhari Zif indicated that the Khalifa International Prize for Dates and Agricultural Innovation succeeded in organizing a series of dates festivals of 63 festivals in nine countries producing dates, namely: the United Arab Emirates, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Sudan, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, the Kingdom of Morocco, the United States of Mexican, the Pakistani Islamic Republic, and the Republic of Ethiopia. Democracy.
The festival witnessed a distinguished Emirati participation through a special pavilion in which it offered a variety of Emirati dates, in addition to the logistical and technical support provided by the General Secretariat of the Khalifa International Prize for Dates and Agricultural Innovation, which contributed to an active role in organizing the festival within its efforts to support and develop the palm sector and dates at the international level.
The organization of this festival comes within the framework of joint cooperation between the Ministry of National Food Security and Pakistani Research, the Pakistani Export Development Authority, and the Khalifa International Date Palm Award, with the aim of enhancing trade and agricultural exchange, and achieving sustainable development in the palm sector.
