The vital Yemeni navy, in a way that enhances regional stability and protects international trade routes. A major artery for global trade and a basic axis linking the peoples of the world and enhancing their common interests. "Starting from the bonds of historical brotherhood and the established relations that bring together the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the sisterly Republic of Yemen, Riyadh is seeking to support the Yemeni government in various political, economic, developmental and humanitarian fields, including building its capabilities and enhancing its efficiency, and in a way that enhances its stability and prosperity, and achieves the aspirations of its noble people"." The Kingdom was keen to support the sisterly Republic of Yemen in various vital sectors throughout the past decades by providing unified holistic support from all relevant authorities in the Kingdom, which included support for the budget of the Yemeni government, supporting the Central Bank of Yemen, and implementing (265) projects and development initiative through the Saudi program for the development and reconstruction of Yemen in eight vital sectors in various Yemeni governorates, in addition to supporting the building of the capabilities of Yemeni government institutions, including supporting the Yemeni Coast Guard. With various initiatives and programs, totaling (55,641,252) USD, confirming the depth of brotherly ties and the establishment of partnership between the two countries". ($ 4,000,000) USD’s additional support for the Yemeni Coast Guard forces". "We in the United Kingdom are committed to supporting the Yemeni Coast Guard and the Yemeni government. Today’s pledges reflect the size of international support for Yemen, and we are grateful to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its continuous support.". On controlling maritime borders, improving security and economic opportunities for Yemeni coastal societies, and protecting one of the most important marine corridors in the world.
