September 22, the beginning of autumn and the decreased temperature

Ibrahim Al -Jarwan, Chairman of the Emirates Astronomy Association, Member of the Arab Federation for Space and Astronomy, said that the autumn in the Emirates will start this year on September 22 at 22:20, when almost the day and night throughout the Earth and the sun’s south’s Milan begins gradually, announcing the beginning of the gradual and sensitive decrease in temperatures in the northern half of the globe.

He explained in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” that the general climatic data during the fall in the Emirates shows that the temperatures decrease gradually so that it is at its beginning at a rate of 37 degrees Celsius during the day and 23 at night, and in the middle of it, i.e. on November 8, 32 degrees Celsius during the day and 18 at night, while the upper at the end of December 21, 26 degrees Celsius and the world 14, while moisture remains relatively high in September and October and begins Gradually decrease with mid -November.

He pointed out that the rate of rain during the fall is less than 2 mm, November 5 to 6 mm, and December 16 to 18 mm.

He pointed to the multiplicity of astronomical events witnessed by the fall season between what is periodic on its fixed date almost of the year, such as brilliant stars and the main meteors showers, and what is not fixed in its date, such as the birth of new satellites, the phenomena of the eclipse, the eclipse, and the comets.

Al -Jarwan stated that the dates of the birth of the crescent during the autumn chapter include the birth of the crescent of the month of Rabi ‘al -Akher on September 21, 2025, and the first month of Jumada on October 21, 2025, and the crescent of the month of Jumada al -Akhera on November 20, 2025, pointing out that the moonlight is during these nights and before or after about three days weak and the duration of its stay in the sky of the night is limited, which enhances the chances of monitoring the bulbs, stars and distant galaxies.

He explained that the chances of monitoring a number of major meteors increased during the fall, and that the most prominent of which is the peak of the mighty jurisprudence on the evening of October 21 and 22, and the revolution of the revolutionaries and is active during November and is characterized by some shiny fiery balls, indicating that the best monitoring times are in the hours of midnight, away from optical pollution.

Al -Jarwan added that the autumn evenings witness the start of asteroids and shiny stars from the east, including the stars of the summer triangle, which is the eagle of the constellation of the guitar, the flying eagle of the constellation of punishment, the chicken guilt from the chicken constellation, and the constellation of the mighty/hunter that the Arabs called the Gemini, the constellation of the chair that the Arabs called the “camel”, the Andromeda constellation, the constellation of the Persians “Pegasos” or the autumn square that the Arabs were called “Aquarius”.

With regard to the length of the day in the UAE, he said that at the beginning of the fall, about 12 hours and 18 minutes, and in the middle of it about 11 hours and 30 minutes, and at the end of it about 10 hours and 55 minutes, and that the Earth will not witness the phenomenon of lunar and solar eclipse during the fall of 2025.
