New Medicine College with partnership, “American Dubai and Pennsylvania”, the first College of Medicine in America

The American University in Dubai announced the launch of its strategic partnership with the Penicine University of Penicine, the first school of medicine and educational hospital in the United States, with the aim of establishing a leading medical school in the UAE.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. C. Larry Jameson, President of Pennsylvania University, Dr. Kyle Long, President of the American University in Dubai, His Excellency Elias Boussab, Vice President of the University, Dr. Glen Golton, Deputy Dean and Director of the World Health Center at Pennsylvania College, along with a group of governmental and academic representatives and health care sector partners including hospitals, medical institutions and health technology companies.
This step contributes to supporting Dubai’s vision to consolidate its position as a global center for health education and services, and to enhance the UAE’s national priorities in the fields of health and education. The Faculty of Medicine at the American University of Dubai will present the MD program (MD), which combines advanced American educational practices and the needs of the health care sector in the Emirates, to become a leading center for medical education, research and innovation, by integrating advanced clinical training in advanced academic education, and qualifying doctors who are able to provide distinguished health care at the local and international levels.
