The name of the fashinista Rawan bin Hussein returned to appear on social media platforms after her complete absence after her imprisonment in Dubai, where information recently spread about the extension of her imprisonment period, without any evidence or official statement from the concerned authorities.

Publications on “Snapchat” stated that an Emirati court sentenced the Kuwaiti artist to be an additional year after her assault on a security guards in Dubai prison, but this news has not been officially confirmed yet.

Rawan had spent a 6 -month prison period and paid a fine of 20,000 dirhams (about 5445 US dollars), with deportation from the Emirati state.

This came after the end of the Public Prosecution’s investigations in Dubai, which showed that Rawan was arrested last year, which is drunk in a public place, and caused a state of riots and tension in the place, as well as members of Dubai Police and directed to them as profanity, while performing their work.
