A series of landslides after heavy rains in East Malaysia

At least 13 people, including seven children, were killed by a series of landslides that were exposed to several areas in the Malaysian state of “Sabah”, as a result of heavy rains.
Official photos showed rescue teams continuing searching for survivors under the rubble, at the location of the ground collapse in Campong Shendrakas, in the Columbong region, which is affiliated with the state of “Sabah” in the east of the country.
Rescue teams from neighboring states were sent to help remove the traces of the disaster, while more than 860 people were evacuated to temporary shelter centers, and the authorities have intensified their efforts to find potential missing persons, while warnings continue to the risks of additional landslides in light of the continuing weather in the region.
