"Hub71" Hong Kong starting program is launched

HUB71 signed a memoranda of understanding with three of the most prominent partners of innovation systems in Hong Kong, which includes HSITPL, the Cyberport Hong Kong Center and MTR LAB, in the presence of His Excellency Mohamed Abdel Rahman Al Hawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Investment, where partnerships aim to attract promising startups to the program, and facilitate mutual access to technology systems in The two countries, the exchange of knowledge, and the launch of joint programs in areas that include governments, infrastructure sectors and investment capital networks.

The program now opens the door for submitting requests to the startups in Hong Kong, which is looking to explore Abu Dhabi as the next party to expand and grow, and extends over two weeks, and aims to accelerate the entry of startups to the markets, by integrating a virtual stage to prepare to enter the market, with a personal attendance session in Abu Dhabi, and the founders of startups will receive direct access to the regulatory authorities and investors Partners are major companies, as well as a specialized directing and communication opportunities that are carefully selected.

The founders will benefit from investors in Abu Dhabi, from the possibility of participating in regional experimental projects, and opportunities for cooperation with government partners and major companies that lead the march of the digital economy in Abu Dhabi, and the program will be concluded with the day of offers during the effectiveness of HUB71 in Abu Dhabi.

Through the program, HSITPL intends to cooperate with Hub71 to support startups from China and Hong Kong in expanding its horizons and growth from Abu Dhabi, as part of its vision aimed at establishing its position as a global center for information and communication technology.

The Hong Kong Cyberport Center is looking to cooperate with Hub71 to support startups in expanding towards the Middle East markets, in a move that reflects its vision to enhance entrepreneurship locally and globally, as well as attracting major institutions from the region to establish their business in Hong Kong and benefit from its location as a gate to the continental markets, the Greater Gulf region and South Asia.

MTR LAB aims to build global innovation systems for a more intelligent and sustainable future, and through this partnership, MTR LAB links its wallet companies with Hub71 to explore the opportunities for expansion in the Middle East and other regions around the world.

This program is the fourth border participation of the Hub71 system this year, after its recent strategic initiatives in New Jerusalem, Japan and Ireland, and these efforts reflect the broader Hub71 ambitions to link Abu Dhabi to the most prominent global innovation systems, and to establish the position of the Emirati capital as a starting platform for emerging companies that aspire to expand at the international level.

It is noteworthy that HSITPL is responsible for the comprehensive development work of the Hong Kong -Chenezen Innovation and Technology, while Cyberport is the Center for the Hong Kong Digital Technology Center, and the Upstiles of AI, and the incubator of scientific and technological projects at the state level, as it includes more than 2200 companies, including 11 listed companies and 10 startups, while MTR LAB is focused On investing and participating in developing innovative technologies in the areas of mobility, smart cities solutions and sustainability, to build a neutral intelligent community for carbon.
