UAE and Kazakhstan are looking to enhance cooperation in advice on the fatwa and religious awareness, based on artificial intelligence

Abu Dhabi, September 18 / WAM / His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al -Darai, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, with Sheikh Nurizbay Haj Taganoli Obenov, the Grand Mufti of the Republic of Kazakhstan and head of the religious administration of Kazakhstan Muslims, discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of fatwa and develop religious awareness programs.

The meeting, which was held on the sidelines of His Excellency, at the eighth international summit of global and traditional religions in “Astana” on September 17 and 18, focused on exchanging experiences in issuing the correct fatwas and delivering them to recipients in modern innovative ways through digital technology and artificial intelligence, and making efforts to spread the values ​​of tolerance and moderation and enhance dialogue between cultures and religions.

His Excellency Dr. Al -Darai praised the role played by the religious administration in Kazakhstan and its ability to consolidate the tolerant human values ​​and their initiatives to enhance integration and communication between religious institutions in Kazakhstan to make an ideal coexistence environment among societies.

For his part, Sheikh Nurizbay expressed his thanks and appreciation to the UAE for its continuous support for the initiatives that serve the spread of global peace and raises the values ​​of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among societies, praising the leading Emirati experience in managing religious, cultural and sectarian diversity on its soil as a model that seeks to take its experience.
