The start of the eighth session of the “Creative Clans” exhibition in Sharjah

Sharjah, September 18 / WAM / The activities of the eighth session of the exhibition “Creations of Katibib” were launched in the homes of calligraphers in the line of calligraphy in the heart of Sharjah under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah and organized by the Department of Cultural Affairs in the Culture Department in Sharjah.

The opening ceremony was attended by His Excellency Abdullah bin Muhammad Al -Owais, head of the Culture Department in Sharjah, His Excellency Jamal Salem Al -Tarifi, President of Al Qasimia University, and Muhammad Ibrahim Al -Qusayr, Director of the Department of Cultural Affairs in the department and Dr. Muhammad Salem Al -Doubi, Director of the Religious Guidance Department at the Islamic Affairs Department, in addition to the staff of the exhibition and an audience of Arabic calligraphy.

The eighth session included 145 written works for 96 participants and participants from the staff of the Kutaib program in the mosques of Sharjah and the eastern and central regions and the assets of the Women’s Union Association in the Emirate and the Qasimia University, and this diversity in the participants represented many countries of the world such as Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India, Uzbekistan and other countries.

The paintings formed a aesthetic letter energy that decorated the walls of the houses and reflected a remarkable visual culture because of its flow in various lines such as the area, the diwani copy, the decoration, the gilding, and the digital line, while carrying Quranic texts, supplications and guidelines.

The annual “Creative Creativity” competition witnessed the honor of 29 winners who were distributed to 12 men’s category winners, 11 women’s category winners, and 6 young winners, in addition to 5 students from Al Qasimia University in a celebration of the high status of Arabic calligraphy.

Muhammad Al -Qusayr said that the care of the owner of the ruler of Sharjah to Arabic calligraphy is an important support for this authentic Arab Islamic art, indicating that this care extends to all age groups of men and women to young people and young people in a way that establishes the presence of Arabic calligraphy among all generations and reflects the aesthetic importance represented by Arabic calligraphy of all kinds and multiple methods.

Al -Qusayr pointed out that the eighth session included a group of participants who showed a remarkable creativity in highlighting the aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy and translating it for artworks that reflected their linear distinction, pointing out that the “Kettib” program represents an important artistic platform for the participants from the youth and the men who found their first steps to become one of the most prominent artists of Arabic calligraphy in Sharjah and the Arab world.

In the corridors of the exhibition, the attendees toured the explanations of the participants and the participants about their linear paintings accomplished with a remarkable distinction, which reflected their artistic skills and their keenness to work with high professionalism and professionalism, confirming the rich knowledge and experiences that we gained in the line and the skills they gained during their educational and training career.

Al -Owais, accompanied by Al -Tarifi and Al -Qusayr, received certificates of appreciation for the winners of the exhibition competition, encouraging them to continue creative efforts, while praising the distinguished level that the participants in their work showed.
